Could you be the best person in your organization while not paying attention to the resources that you have available? It is doubtful. The resources available to us are called assets. We need to manage these assets to get the very best return on them.
What is challenging is finding some of these assets that we cannot see. We can find ourselves successful in the use of one while grossly misusing another. It is necessary to change our thinking about managing our assets so we may garner the most value.
